What are Fill In Bartenders?

Fill in bartenders are professional bartenders who temporarily cover shifts when regular staff are unavailable due to illness, vacations, or other reasons. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Fill In Bartender, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Fill In Bartender, you need a solid understanding of drink recipes, bar operations, and customer service, typically supported by prior bartending experience and, in some areas, a responsible beverage service certification.
