Both bartenders and waitstaff work in the hospitality industry, often earning tips based on service quality. While tips for bartenders typically come from patrons ordering drinks, waitstaff tips are from customers dining and ordering food. The amount can vary based on location, service quality, and establishment type, but generally, waitstaff tips tend to be higher due to the broader scope of service provided.

About Us
Cream City Concepts is Milwaukee's hospitality group built for the energy of a packed house. We run Oak Barrel Public House, Who's on Third, Who's on Layton, Cream City Catering, and 3rd Street Retreat - craft food, cold drinks, game days, date nights, big events, and a place to stay, all over the city. The pace is fast, the standards are high, and the people are what make it work.
About the Role
The Server owns the guest's experience at the table. You're the face of the visit - you set the tone, guide the order, sell the food and drinks you believe in, keep the pace right, and send people out planning their next visit. Great serving is equal parts hospitality and hustle: you read every table, anticipate what they need, and run a tight, accurate section while making it look easy. You also handle guests' money and our checks, so we count on you to be accurate and honest every single time.
One Team, One Floor
In our venues, nobody stands around while the room needs something. When the floor needs it, everyone crosses over - you'll run food to other sections, help bus and reset, back up the bar and the door, and jump in wherever the room needs a hand. We run as one team, not separate jobs, and we tip and treat it that way.
Always Guest-Ready
If you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean - and you never make a trip with an empty hand. Heading toward the kitchen? You're carrying dirty dishes back to the dish pit. Between tables you're resetting, restocking, running side-work, and getting ahead of the next rush. A clean, set, guest-ready section and floor are the standard here, not the exception - and you work the opening, side-work, and closing checklists without being asked.
What We're Hiring For
