Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, especially on the night shift.
- Serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs, and any special guest requests during the night shift.
- Reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash payments, and credit card transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, and complete the night audit process in the property management system (PMS).
- Prepare and deliver end-of-day reports to management.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and other departments as needed to maintain smooth hotel operations overnight.
- Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
- Be knowledgeable about day and night hotel operations, check event sheets, bulletin boards and be up to date with all changes, new procedures, and events.
- Follow all cash handling and banking procedures to check out all guests efficiently.
- Be familiar with the AM/PM checklist to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
