Represents Lone Star National Bank by serving as “Cowboy Cash” in dress costume at various bank and sporting events throughout the San Antonio area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary.

  • Represents Lone Star National Bank by serving as “Cowboy Cash” in dress costume at various bank and sporting events throughout the year, including summer, weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Adopts the character and personality of the Bank’s mascot in greeting the public and performing at various events at the bank or at other pre-determined sites
  • Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy
  • Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations
  • Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML

  • A self-starting team player who possesses a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be outgoing, with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Must have a good understanding of public relations goals and practices
  • Flexibility, professionalism and ability to work in a highly stressful environment and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and event dates, including weekdays, weekends and evenings, as neede
  • Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, as scheduled
  • Must be able to work at all Viper Home Games from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm), as scheduled, from December to April (on various dates throughout the basketball season)
  • Must have a current driver’s license and possess reliable vehicle
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and exerting up to 100 lbs. of force to move event equipment
  • Must be comfortable working in a mascot costume
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired

ORGANIZATION

  • This position reports to the Marketing director
  • This position does not oversee other positions

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination.
