Job Summary

This job manages a team of engineers, cultivating a culture of innovation and professional development. It oversees the design and update of software and web applications, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborating cross‑functionally, it sets project requirements and timelines, manages the release process, and monitors adherence to standards and budgets. Responsibilities
  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
  • Backend development.
  • Overseeing the planning and designing of software and web applications, including new programs, enhancements and modifications.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements, set timelines, and maintain communication for efficient workflows.
  • Managing software design and application updates, coordinating roll‑outs and ensuring enhancements meet technical specifications.
  • Implementing key performance indicators for development processes, advocating for best practices to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Managing deliverables across the team, ensuring adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets while mentoring staff for professional growth.
  • Monitoring industry technological developments, evaluating external products, and ensuring the team's knowledge is up‑to‑date.

Compensation

Pay Range: $137,369.30 - $206,053.95. Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non‑sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Comcast also provides best‑in‑class Benefits to eligible employees, including options to support physical, financial and emotional well‑being.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Certifications

Relevant Work Experience: 5‑7 Years.
