Job description

Description
The primary responsibility of the Nurse (RN or LPN) in our Assisted Living is to provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medication and treatments, and support household operations across all levels of living.
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Supervise CNAs and coordinate care delivery during assigned shift
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; maintain accurate documentation
  • Make daily rounds, assess residents, and report changes to physician or Clinical Coordinator
  • Participate in care planning, infection control, safety, and quality assurance
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and emergency protocols
  • Support household duties including leading activities, assisting with meals, laundry, and cleaning
  • Participate in shift change circles and complete monthly Relias training
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule: This position will work a mix of 6a-2:30p and 3a-3p and be on an every other weekend rotation.
Requirements
  • Active Virginia or Compact LPN or RN license in good standing
  • CPR certification
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

  • Stand/walk for extended periods, lift/push up to 50 pounds
  • Operate standard nursing and household equipment
  • Handle resident conditions including confusion, memory loss, or behavior issues
