As an LRU Asset Manager, you'll drive incremental revenue by leveraging existing service center resources to stock, market, and sell LRUs through internal and external channels. You will optimize surplus and repairable LRU inventory to develop customer demand, creating new and sustainable revenue by converting existing assets and capability into marketable product. This role will strengthen site profitability, enhances asset utilization, and supports long-term growth.

What you'll do:

  • Manage, plan, direct, and coordinate the distribution business to achieve established goals and objectives.

  • Own the financial modeling and monetization of LRU distribution opportunities, including repair-to-sell pathways and kitting solutions (where applicable) that enable profitable asset utilization.

  • Plan, prioritize, and direct activities to ensure expedient and efficient kitting and LRU repair management solutions with vendors, Part Repairs, Part Sales, and applicable internal support functions.

  • Perform financial modeling for LRU asset management opportunities with potential and existing vendors.

  • Act as a "Product & Distribution Line Specialist" and communicate with Sales regarding value propositions and modeled assumptions supporting LRU part sales for optimal monetization aligned to financial models.

  • Frequently perform market analysis to identify opportunities to develop additional LRU distribution lines and kitting opportunities; communicate market trends with the Sales team.

  • Develop relationships with major OEM suppliers to support current and future distribution business growth.

  • Support Sales and VP/GM with costing and pricing analysis to support current and future market inquiries.

  • Coordinate and liaise with Technical Records, Operations, Quality Assurance, Sales, Engineering, Finance, etc., to resolve complex problems and ensure operational objectives are achieved.

  • Monitor and analyze output, delivery dates, labor, quality, staffing, facility usage, budget, and financial performance for distribution materials and solutions; lead problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Control production costs by setting production standards and implementing method improvements and cost-saving programs.

  • Actively participate in management teams, supporting strategic plans, budgets, goals, and outcomes.

  • Systems / Data: Utilize ERP and inventory systems - including Oracle - to support inventory analysis, transaction execution, data integrity, and reporting for LRU asset monetization and distribution performance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Occasional regional travel to customers, vendors, and company meetings; approximately 20% travel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related discipline (CIM, CPIM, APICS) or equivalent.

  • 5 years' experience in an aviation, MRO, OEM environment involved with the maintenance and support of turbine engines (LRU environment).

  • 5 years of sales and/or business management experience in a manufacturing and/or remanufacturing environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Working knowledge of PCs.

  • Working knowledge of ERP / production management computer systems; Oracle experience strongly preferred.

  • Distribution sales and Aviation MRO sales experience preferred.
