Your Role:

Your primary goal as a Plumbing Apprentice is to learn the trade and become a Plumbing Service Technician. This is an entry-level position on our career ladder, designed to train you from knowing nothing to potentially becoming a Service Field Supervisor. As you progress throughout your career, you have the opportunity to learn the HVAC trade in addition to the Plumbing Trade.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Rapport: Establish strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate your knowledge and professionalism to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Service Calls: Conduct service calls independently, selling and performing your own work or coordinating with a Service Field Supervisor for larger projects.
  • Technical Work: Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations accurately and efficiently.
  • Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized job site and ensure accurate truck inventory.
  • Training: Actively participate in all on-the-job training and formal exercises to master the trade.
  • Paperwork: Complete accurate and timely paperwork.

Requirements:

  • No Plumbing Experience Required: We provide extensive training in our onsite facility and on-the-job training.
  • Willingness to Learn: Must be passionate about learning the trade and excited about a long-term career.
  • Integrity and Communication Skills: High integrity with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization: Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Motivation and Attitude: Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desires to improve.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting.
  • Energetic Team Player: Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
