CNC Tool Grinder Apprentice

We're looking for a motivated CNC Tool Grinder Apprentice who is eager to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. This apprenticeship provides hands-on training in CNC tool grinding, where you'll learn to manufacture and recondition high-precision cutting tools using advanced multi-axis grinding equipment.
What You'll Learn & Do
As a CNC Tool Grinder Apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training to:
  • Learn the complete CNC tool grinding process, from reviewing work assignments to producing finished tools.
  • Set up and operate advanced multi-axis CNC tool grinding machines.
  • Select the appropriate grinding wheels and tooling for each job.
  • Enter tool specifications and machine parameters into CNC controls.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and make machine adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Read blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Use precision measuring and testing equipment to verify product quality.
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures while developing your machining skills.

Qualifications
