Youth Apprentice- Dental

Position Summary

Noble Community Clinics is seeking a motivated high school student to join our team as a Youth Apprentice โ€“ Dental. This paid apprenticeship provides hands-on experience in a professional dental setting while allowing students to build valuable skills under the guidance of experienced dental professionals.

As a Youth Apprentice, you'll learn the fundamentals of dental assisting, infection control, patient care, dental office operations, and clinical procedures. As your knowledge and competencies grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in accordance with Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship guidelines and under direct supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Learn OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and workplace safety standards.
  • Assist with preparing and disinfecting treatment rooms.
  • Observe and support dental procedures while learning clinical techniques.
  • Help prepare instruments, supplies, and treatment areas.
  • Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit.
  • Learn dental office workflows, scheduling, and patient communication.
  • Participate in radiography training and expose radiographs after completing required training and competency requirements.
  • Assist with basic administrative duties and inventory management.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to excellent patient care.
