Job description

Travelling Electrical Control Assembler

  • Job Location: Milwaukee, WI
  • Pay: $22/hr- 30 day performance review with opportunity to increase to $24/hr
  • Travel pay: $100/day per diem
  • Hours: Up to 60/hrs/week
  • 1st and 2nd shifts available

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and install electrical components inside large steel generator and enclosures and modular electrical equipment enclosure.
  • Pre-assemble electrical kits and and prepare components for installation.
  • Perform light fabrication, including drilling, forming, wire stripping, and crimping.
  • Bending conduit
  • Read and follow blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies
  • Assist with routing, securing, and connecting electrical components and wiring
  • Handle materials and components with large enclosure assemblies.
