Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, program, and support PLC and HMI control systems for industrial equipment  applications
  • Create machine control architectures including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and  integrated safety components
  • Develop, document, and maintain standardized, structured control code and programming practices
  • Design and integrate safety control systems in compliance with applicable NFPA, UL, and OSHA  standards
  • Produce electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and supporting technical documentation
  • Select electrical components and generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Provide technical support during panel fabrication, wiring, system verification, and testing
  • Review designs to ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety requirements, and internal standards
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), equipment startup, and field commissioning activities
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls issues during installation and post-deployment support
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, service teams, and customers to deliver effective technical solutions



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems
  • Proficiency developing and supporting HMI applications
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems including 480V power distribution, VFDs, motors,  sensors, and controls
  • Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics and technical drawings


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial mixing, process equipment, or heavy industrial machinery
  • Knowledge of motion control, servo drives, and coordinated motion applications
  • Familiarity with UL 508A panel standards and NFPA 79 requirements
  • Hands-on experience with field startup, commissioning, and equipment validation
  • Strong written and verbal communication
