Shoals Overhead Door is seeking a motivated and coachable individual to join our commercial field team as an Installation Apprentice. We are a 5-star rated company specializing in the installation and service of overhead doors, gate operators, and other electrically powered systems.

Position Overview:
This role involves hands-on work in a commercial environment, including the installation and service of garage doors and related electrical components. Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and eager to grow within the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation and service of commercial overhead doors, electric gate operators, and loading dock equipment.
  • Support wiring and troubleshooting of motors, control panels, sensors, and other electrical components.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to develop technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable with physical labor and working outdoors.
  • Willingness to receive training and follow direction.
  • Trade, mechanical, electrical, or welding experience is a plus.
  • Low-voltage or troubleshooting experience preferred but not required.
