Business Analyst / Product Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid -4 days/ week from office 1 day from home)

Long term contract

The Business Analyst/ Product Analyst is responsible for bridging business and technology teams to deliver strategic digital initiatives, process improvements, customer experience enhancements, analytics solutions, and Al-enabled capabilities. This role partners with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, Data & Al, and Technology to define business needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and ensure successful solution delivery that drives measurable business value

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Create user stories, process flows, business rules, acceptance criteria, and solution

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, demos, and release activities.
  • Analyze current-state process, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Define and validate business rules, data requirements, integrations, reporting needs, and KPI measurements
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business readiness activities, and stakeholder communications
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, gaps, and impacts, and work with teams rive resolution.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives including customer enrollment journeys, workflow automation, self-service capabilities, analytics, and Al-driven solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or related role.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and solution validation.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into clear requirements and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Lucid Chart, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Preferred experience supporting digital products, customer journeys, analytics initiatives, process optimization, and Al-enabled business solutions.
