Role

We are seeking an Analyst, FP&A to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the Thacker Pass operation & Corporate FP&A department, through performing highquality managerial accounting, financial analysis, and business partnership. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate sitelevel financial reporting, supporting operational decisionmaking, and strengthening financial processes as the project advances. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a missiondriven organization committed to innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the clean energy sector.

The role is initially based at our Reno, Nevada office and will initially report to the Manager, FP&A, potentially transitioning to reporting to the Finance Manager, Thacker Pass as the site organization evolves. Frequent travel to Winnemucca, Nevada office and occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, or vendor locations will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for the Thacker Pass operation
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports, operational KPIs, and financial performance metrics
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Corporate Finance
  • Partner with site operations teams to provide financial insights that support daytoday and strategic decisionmaking
  • Maintain accurate cost accounting records, inventory tracking, and capital project reporting
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of internal controls, supporting SOX compliance efforts
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships across all teams while championing a culture that reflects and supports our Purpose, Vision, and Values
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
  • CPA or CMA designation (or progress toward one) is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
  • Solid understanding of managerial accounting concepts and financial reporting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and operations teams
  • Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and followthrough
