Job description

Fuse is on a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to fusion energy. Our core product is TITAN: an Impedance Matched Marx Generator (IMG). TITAN is the most efficient and powerful (TW) machine of its kind. Fusers have also built and licensed Magical Unicorn and FAETON I, 2 novel pulsed power generators.

Tech Team Alpha is mostly composed of military veterans with experience in “high stress” situations where extreme attention to detail, strict adherence to safety precautions and procedures, and the “never fail” mindset are necessities. Tech Team Alpha has been successful translating their military skillsets to the Fusion mission. Each member must have extremely high levels of mechanical prowess and familiarity with all tools of the industry, from common hand tools to precision, industrial machines; Team members must also become proficient in all things radiological: from procurement to transportation, storage, security, and safe handling.

Members of Tech Team Alpha are hand picked by the CEO due to their maturity, endless dedication to mission accomplishment, and unparalleled loyalty to the company and the country. Each Team member will be intimately familiar with Fuse’s machines and will put their mechanical abilities to the test as they assemble them according to the Engineers’ exacting specifications.  Team members also have to have a deep reserve of problem-solving skills to quickly troubleshoot issues that arise. They usually can't wait to get home to tinker in their shop. They're the people you want to call when something goes wrong.

You are joining an early-stage fusion company. Please expect to wear different hats and take 0 to 1 ownership of objectives. Changing the world is hard but honorable and fulfilling. You should expect to work extremely hard to make a dent. This is not a regular job. Fusers are on a mission to change the world.
