Job description

Recovery Works NW Part-Time Overnight Position

We are committed to non-judgmental, compassionate care for people navigating substance use and mental health challenges. If you are looking for a part-time overnight role where your work supports both patients and the nursing team in a meaningful way, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

In our program, patients are generally independent with personal care, so the position focuses primarily on obtaining and documenting vital signs, assisting with medication administration as directed by the nurse, light cleaning duties, and helping with patient discharges.

Why Apply
  • Consistent part-time Wednesday night schedule
  • Small 16-bed setting with a more personal environment than larger facilities.
  • Family-owned, community-based program
  • Approachable leadership
  • Supportive team and good staffing support
  • Meaningful work with patients in early recovery
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired
Schedule

Wednesdays 7pm-7:30am

Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting at $26/hour DOE ($24/hour base pay + $2/hour weekday night differential)
  • Sick Time (40 hours annually)
  • Time and a Half Holiday Pay
  • 401k and up to 3% match after 3 months of employment
  • Up to $400 per year for approved CEUs
  • All required licensure/certification costs for position paid for by the company
What You'll Do
  • Obtain and document vital signs
  • Observe patients and report concerns or changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Assist with patient discharges and related tasks
  • Complete light cleaning duties and help maintain a safe, organized environment
  • Support the nursing team with documentation and overnight unit flow
  • Respond appropriately to urgent situations following established protocols
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accurate records
Minimum Requirements
  • Current CNA Certification
  • Direct patient care experience required
  • Detox, behavioral health, residential treatment, or similar experience preferred
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to patient care
  • Current BLS, or willingness to obtain via company-paid class within 6 weeks of hire

Position is contingent on passing an OHA Background check and successful completion of a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer.
