Technical Expertise
  • Develop andmaintainexpert-level knowledge of AMOT's products, applications, and technologies.
  • Develop a strong understanding of diesel engines, natural gas engines, turbines, lubrication systems, cooling systems, thermal management, and industrial process equipment.

Problem Solving: Analyze complex customer applications,identifytechnical challenges, and develop practical, customer-focused solutions through collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales.

Time Management: Effectively prioritize customer requests, proposal support, technical projects, travel, and internal responsibilities while consistently meeting deadlines andmaintainingresponsiveness.

Teamwork: Work collaboratively across Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve businessobjectives.

Performance Metrics

Performance in this role will be evaluated using a combination of qualitative and quantitative measures. Success is based not only on technicalexpertisebut also on the ability to influence sales opportunities, support customers, collaborate across departments, and contribute to the overall success of the Americas Sales organization.

Education and Experience:Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, ora relatedengineering discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting industrial equipment, rotating equipment, valves, controls, engines, turbines, power generation equipment, or process systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently present technical information to engineers, operators,purchasingpersonnel, executives, and other customer stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical development.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex technical products and applications with minimal supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, including Pipedrive and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting an industrial technical sales organization.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, natural gas engines, turbines, lubrication systems, cooling systems, thermal management, and industrial process equipment.
  • Experience supporting customers within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Marine, Rail, Mining, and Industrial Process markets.

Travel Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to travelapproximately 30–50% as business needs require.
