Job Summary

Syntax is seeking an experienced SAP AFS-S/4 Fashion O2C Architect with a strong background in the retail and fashion industry. This role plays a key part in leading the design, transition, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Fashion solutions, with a focus on Order-to-Cash processes. The architect will serve as a bridge between AFS and S/4 Fashion, helping ensure that O2C capabilities are modernized, aligned to business objectives, and delivered in line with best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Retail-Fashion solutions for Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze sales processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support effective integration with other fashion-related components.
  • Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, drive process optimization, and guide O2C teams through successful solution delivery.
  • Support the transition from AFS to S/4, including RICEF analysis and code remediation to improve solution quality and decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on SAP best practices within the fashion industry.
  • Lead and mentor a project team of SAP O2C consultants, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Serve as a pre-sales advisor by providing insight into technologies that support business outcomes and demonstrate the value of innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of SAP AFS and S/4 Fashion experience, including at least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in a stream lead role within the retail fashion industry.
  • Proficiency with SAP Activate, particularly in transition initiatives from AFS to S/4.
  • Strong knowledge of core Order-to-Cash processes and fashion-specific SAP capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and fit-to-standard implementation methodologies.
  • Hands-on technical experience with SAP AFS, S/4HANA, and Fiori.
  • Proven leadership experience guiding SAP O2C functional and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex SAP fashion environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
