Job description

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for ongoing onsite locum coverage in Indiana. This opportunity offers weekday-only daytime coverage in a collaborative hospital-based radiology environment with no call or weekend responsibilities.

Assignment Details:

  • Start: August 2026
  • Ongoing assignment with multiple open weeks available through December
  • Onsite coverage only (no remote option)

Schedule:

  • Monday Friday
  • 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • No call
  • No weekends

Practice Setting:

  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Academic/community hospital environment
  • 220+ bed regional hospital
  • Epic EMR
  • GE PACS + Powerscribe

Work Details:

  • Coverage focused primarily on ER STAT reads
  • Plain films and CT interpretation required
  • Optional ultrasound and MRI reads

NOT Required:

  • MRI coverage mandatory reads
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Mammography
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Interventional Radiology procedures

Neuro Coverage:

  • STAT CT heads
  • CT spine studies from ER

Volume Expectations:

  • Approximately exams/day
  • Always working alongside 1 3 additional radiologists onsite

Requirements:

  • Active Indiana license or IMLC
  • BC/BE Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certification within 5 years of residency
  • 2+ years experience required
  • BLS required
  • Clean background / no NPDB concerns

Credentialing & Orientation:

  • In-person orientation required
  • Orientation typically scheduled prior to assignment start

Additional Notes:

  • Drive-in candidates preferred
  • Providers available for multiple assignment blocks strongly preferred
