NHC HealthCare Dickson is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. This weekday night-shift opportunity allows you to provide high-quality nursing care while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and established nursing standards.
  • Assess patient and resident needs and monitor for changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  • Complete required nursing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and appropriate members of the care team.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized plans of care.
  • Provide direction and support to nursing assistants and other assigned nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and NHC policies and procedures.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Tennessee, or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Tennessee.
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification as required.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
This position works a weekday night-shift schedule from 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m., allowing team members to have weekends off.
Sign-On Bonus
Eligible full-time hires may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Eligibility, payment schedule, and other terms are subject to NHC guidelines and center-specific requirements.
