NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated distribution route within our established Indianapolis, IN operation. This is a high-mileage opportunity requiring a cargo van and is ideal for an experienced delivery professional looking for consistent weekday work. Your Mission
  • Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure packages are picked up and delivered safely and on time while maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
  • Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to efficiently navigate a large multi-county service area while completing deliveries within required timeframes.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide professional, dependable service at every stop while representing your independent business and NOW Courier positively.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Adapt quickly to traffic, route changes, and other challenges while maintaining accurate and timely deliveries.
Route Details & Schedule (Indianapolis Area)
  • Compensation: Flat rate of $300 per day / $1,500 per week
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Start Time: 6:00 AM
  • End Time: Last delivery by approximately 5:30 PM
  • Required Vehicle: Cargo van (Transit vans are not accepted for this route)
  • Daily Mileage: Approximately 200–350 miles
  • Daily Stops: Approximately 15–60
  • Geographical Area: This route services a large territory including Brazil, Carbon, Cory, Knightsville, Amo, Coatesville, Stilesville, Monrovia, Coal City, Rosedale, Cloverdale, Fillmore, Greencastle, Putnamville, Universal, Terre Haute, Fontanet, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Seelyville, West Terre Haute, and surrounding areas. The route also includes Paris, Illinois.
  • Sorting: Distribution sorting responsibilities are required.
Vehicle Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a cargo van suitable for this distribution route. Transit vans are not accepted.
  • The vehicle must be 2017 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.

  • Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Vehicle: Own a vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
