Job Description – Lead CNA

At Home Helpers, we recognize that caregiving is one of the most meaningful and impactful roles in our community. We value and support our caregivers, and our Lead CNA plays a key role in mentoring, training, and supporting our caregiving team.

Schedule Requirements

  • Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • The evening shift may be eligible for a shift differential.
  • Schedule availability is required Monday through Friday.
  • Every other weekend on-call coverage is required from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
  • Occasional coverage outside of regularly scheduled hours may be required based on business needs, including coverage until 10:00 PM.

Applicants must be able to reliably work this weekday schedule, as it is essential to supporting caregiver training, onboarding, and daily operations. HOURS VARY ON LOCATION! ASK US!!

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate caregiver training
  • Assist with training in the office and in clients’ homes
  • Client intake assessments
  • Introduce new caregivers to clients
  • Fill in as a caregiver when needed
  • Assist with in-office projects as assigned (i.e. paperwork, phone support, additional trainings)
  • Cover shifts, be on-call every other weekend and as assigned

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliable attendance record
