Full Time Weekday information

What is a full time weekday?

Full Time Weekday jobs are positions where employees work the standard number of hours (usually 35-40 per week) across weekdays, typically Monday through Friday. These jobs are common in industries such as administration, education, healthcare, and business. Full time weekday roles often provide consistent hours, regular pay, and benefits like health insurance and paid leave. They are ideal for those seeking a structured schedule and work-life balance on weekends.

What can I expect from the typical schedule and workload in a full time weekday position?

In a full-time weekday role, you can generally expect to work a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, typically totaling 35–40 hours per week. Your daily responsibilities will depend on the specific job and industry, but most roles involve collaborating with colleagues during regular business hours and participating in team meetings or project updates. This structure often allows for a predictable routine, making it easier to balance work and personal commitments. However, some roles may require occasional overtime or flexibility to meet project deadlines or business needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time weekday employee, and why are they important?

To thrive in a full-time weekday role, candidates typically need reliability, time management, and a strong work ethic, along with any job-specific educational or technical qualifications. Familiarity with standard office software, scheduling tools, or industry-specific systems is often required. Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability are critical soft skills that help individuals excel in a structured workweek environment. These skills ensure consistent productivity, smooth collaboration, and the ability to meet organizational goals within standard business hours.

Job description

Full-Time Endocrinologist - Established Private Practice with Equity Opportunity

Diabetes & Endocrine Treatment Specialists (DETS)
Sandy, Utah - Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area

Diabetes & Endocrine Treatment Specialists is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible endocrinologist to join our established private practice in Sandy, Utah. This is an opportunity to step into a busy practice with a large existing patient base, strong referral relationships, modern facilities, and meaningful long-term growth potential.

DETS provides comprehensive care for type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid and parathyroid disease, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disorders, reproductive endocrinology, and medical weight management. Our practice also has an active clinical-research program offering opportunities to participate in pharmaceutical and medical-device trials.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time, weekday outpatient position

  • Shared call with other providers - light duty (occasional refills and patient questions)

  • Established patient demand and referral base

  • Competitive guaranteed salary plus productivity incentives

  • Dedicated medical-assistant support

  • Experienced staff supporting CGM, insulin-pump, prior-authorization, and patient-communication needs

  • Scheduled protected administrative time for reviewing results, documentation, refills, and patient follow-up

  • Modern clinic with ultrasound suite for thyroid/parathyroid/neck imaging and FNA procedures

  • 20 days of PTO, paid holidays, and separate CME time and allowance

  • Malpractice coverage and health benefits

  • Signing and relocation assistance available

  • No hospital employment bureaucracy

Equity and Succession Opportunity

For the right physician, this position offers a structured pathway to earn or purchase equity in the practice. The long-term opportunity may include increasing clinical and operational leadership, participation in practice growth, and the potential for an eventual partial or complete ownership transition.

This is particularly well-suited to an endocrinologist who wants more than an employed position and is interested in helping to lead and eventually own an established specialty practice.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree

  • Completion of an accredited endocrinology fellowship

  • Board certified or board eligible in endocrinology

  • Eligible for an unrestricted Utah medical license

  • Eligible for DEA registration and insurance-panel credentialing

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care

Both experienced endocrinologists and physicians completing fellowship are encouraged to apply. Endocrinology experience is essential; prior private-practice, clinical-research, or diabetes-technology experience is welcomed but not required.

Sandy offers convenient access to Salt Lake City, an international airport, excellent schools, and year-round outdoor recreation, including world-class skiing, hiking, cycling, and national parks.

Interested physicians are invited to submit a CV and brief statement describing their clinical interests and long-term professional goals.
