Dad works long hours outside the home and Mom is a stay-at-home parent seeking a true partnership to help maintain order and flow at home. After years of "embracing the chaos," we're ready for someone to help keep our systems running smoothly so we can enjoy more family time and less stress.
This role is not primarily focused on childcare, but being kid-friendly and comfortable around children is essential. We deeply value a collaborative spirit, someone who can tag-team daily tasks, keep things running behind the scenes, and take initiative while respecting existing routines and systems.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and great at follow-through
  • Patient, calm, and communicative
  • Comfortable with and versed in Montessori-inspired environments
  • Respectful while being proactive
  • Loves home projects, maintaining systems, and bringing order to busy spaces

  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, spot vacuum
  • Prep for and coordinate donations, returns, and travel packing
  • Occasionally supervise vendors (cleaners, handymen, landscapers)

Inventory & Errands
  • Track and restock pantry, snacks, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
  • Manage orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)
  • Grocery shopping and occasional local errands (dry cleaning, returns, gift shopping)

Meal Support
  • Prep basic, healthy meals/dinners and kids' favorites (mac & cheese, edamame, pizza)
  • Pack school lunches
  • Clean kitchen after meal prep
  • Maintain an organized kitchen, manage grocery inventory

Laundry & Linens
  • Fold, organize, and put away laundry
  • Rotate bedding, refresh towels
  • Keep laundry area tidy and stocked

Vehicle Upkeep
  • Reset and organize family vehicles

Family Support
  • Light back-up child care or supervision- when Mom is out and as an extra set of hands if Dad is working late
  • Prep kids' backpacks, snacks, or clothing
  • Help with child-related laundry and errands

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, rugs, humidifiers)
  • Project-based tasks like toy rotation, seasonal decorations, garage/mudroom refresh
