The Opportunity
We're seeking a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to lead high-impact process improvement initiatives across our Life Sciences Solutions business. This position will be hybrid, based out of our Biorepository facility in Leesburg, VA.
In this role, you'll drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and operational performance within a GxP-regulated environment, working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, QA, RA, and Commercial teams.
You'll play a key role in translating complex challenges into data-driven, practical solutions while helping build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

How will you make an impact & Requirement

What You'll Do

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC), Kaizen, and CI initiatives end-to-end
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable process improvements
  • Analyze data to evaluate performance and validate improvement opportunities
  • Partner with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and success metrics
  • Develop SOPs, process maps, and value stream maps
  • Lead change management and communicate progress across teams
  • Coach and mentor Green Belt and Yellow Belt practitioners
  • Ensure improvements are sustained and continuously optimized

What You Bring

  • 5-8+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or Green Belt progressing to Black Belt)
  • Proven success delivering measurable improvements (cost, quality, efficiency)
  • Experience in regulated environments (GxP preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, SAP, Visio, or Lucidchart
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Nice to Have

  • Life sciences experience (pharma, biotech, medical devices, diagnostics)
  • Global or multi-site experience
  • Advanced Lean tools (5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping)
  • Coaching/mentoring experience
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills

Additional Details
