Ice Cream Server & Event Staff (In-Store & Special Events)

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals (ages 18 and over) to join our team as a Seasonal Ice Cream Servers & Event Staff, working both in-store and at special events. This dynamic role is perfect for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment, love engaging with people, and take pride in delivering sweet, memorable experiences. Candidates must be available for part-time hours and flexible in-store shifts and off-site events.


Minimum Age 18.


Key Responsibilities:


In-Store Duties:

  • Customer Service: Greet guests with a friendly attitude, take and fulfill orders efficiently, answer menu questions, and handle customer inquiries professionally.
  • Food Preparation & Serving: Scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and other desserts, prepare waffle cones and toppings, and ensure all items are presented neatly and consistently.
  • Cash Handling & Transactions: Process payments using a point-of-sale system, handle cash transactions accurately, and provide correct change.
  • Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor and restock supplies as needed, maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment, and report any issues to management.

Event Duties:

  • Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up and dismantling event spaces, including tents, tables, signage, and serving stations.
  • Catering & Service: Serve ice cream and treats efficiently at festivals, weddings, corporate events, and private functions while ensuring an excellent guest experience.
  • Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized serving area, adhere to food safety regulations, and assist with post-event cleanup.
  • Teamwork & Adaptability: Work closely with event coordinators, adjust to different event environments, and provide top-tier service in high-energy settings.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 or over
  • Previous experience in food service, events, or customer service
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move light-to-moderate weight when setting up event equipment.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to both store shifts and off-site events is required.
