Job description

Reading Country Club, located in Reading, PA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for apart-time Bridal Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fastpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Part Time based on event needs/booking availability

Days, Nights, Weekends & Occasional Holidays required. Will report to Director of Sales & General Manager. Will work alongside the management and culinary team.

Skills Required

  • Organizational skills: For managing multiple vendors, clients and detailed logistics. 

  • Communication skills: To liaise effectively with clients, staff, and other departments when necessary

  • Problem-solving skills: To address unforeseen issues during an event and make effective decisions on behalf of the venue/organization along with accountability for said decisions.

  • Customer service skills: To ensure client satisfaction and promote the venue for future events.

  • Additional skills preferred: Gmail, Google Calendar, Tripleseat Software, Microsoft Office, Lightspeed POS, Crew Scheduling Software

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Satisfaction: 

Introduce yourself to applicable parties the day of the event. This includes the point of contact, couple (weddings), family when appropriate, vendors, planners etc.

Communicate with clients, ensuring all their needs are met and addressing any issues that arise to create a positive and memorable experience. Last minute / day of changes are to be expected. Ensure they are executed with a positive, accommodating attitude. 

Be the main point of contact for wedding couples from early morning getting ready breakfast, brunch or lunch when applicable. Retrieving hors d’oeuvres, preferred drinks and meals for couple. Always ensuring couple is well attended.

  • Maintain Professionalism & Confidentiality

This position requires liaising with clients with various needs, backgrounds and financial information. See employee handbook for details on expectations. All management company standards to be adhered to. Access to shared digital drives and emails are expected to be confidential.

Compensation: $15 / hour plus service fee and client gratuities
