Be the ambassador for the hotel's wedding brand, the Wedding Sales & Service Manager cultivates relationships with wedding planners, industry partners, influencers, and community stakeholders to position Fairmont Dallas as one of the premier wedding destinations in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. From the initial inquiry through event execution, this leader delivers personalized, seamless, and elevated service that reflects the Fairmont luxury experience.

This individual has a proven track record of generating new wedding business, increasing revenue, and growing market share within highly competitive hospitality environments. Through strategic prospecting, relationship-building, creative programming, and exceptional service delivery, they successfully attract high-value clientele and create experiences that inspire repeat business and referrals. Working in close partnership with Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Marketing, Culinary, and Hotel Operations teams, the Wedding Sales & Service Manager is instrumental in developing and executing strategies that increase market share, strengthen brand reputation, and drive profitability. This role plays a critical part in supporting the hotel's long-term vision of becoming the market leader in luxury weddings and social celebrations, helping shape the future of the Fairmont Dallas wedding experience leading into and beyond the property's planned 2029 transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Wedding Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively solicit and secure wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, and related social events.
  • Develop annual business plans and sales initiatives to grow wedding revenue and increase market share.
  • Build relationships with wedding planners, event designers, photographers, florists, entertainment partners, and other luxury wedding professionals.
  • Represent Fairmont Dallas at bridal shows, networking events, industry functions, and community partnerships to increase visibility and generate new business.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve established revenue and conversion goals.
  • Client Experience & Service Excellence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding clients throughout the planning process, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Coordinate closely with Conference Services and Operations to ensure flawless execution of every event.
  • Anticipate client needs while delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented service reflective of Fairmont luxury standards.
  • Create customized proposals and experiences that maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Brand Development
  • Support the continued evolution of Fairmont Dallas' wedding identity by contributing innovative ideas, signature experiences, and market insights.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop wedding content, promotional campaigns, styled shoots, and digital storytelling that elevate the hotel's presence within the luxury wedding market.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and recommend enhancements to wedding offerings and guest experiences.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Foster strong partnerships across Catering, Conference Services, Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, and Marketing to ensure exceptional event execution.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence across all departments supporting weddings.
  • Mentor and support colleagues by sharing best practices and contributing to ongoing training initiatives related to luxury wedding service.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wedding sales, catering sales, luxury hospitality, or social event management.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and cultivating lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of luxury wedding trends and the Dallas wedding market is preferred.
  • Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, or similar sales and event management systems is an asset.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required by client events.
