Position Summary:


Eskola, LLC's Knoxville, Tennessee branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing roofing projects for commercial clients. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while meeting high quality standards. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry knowledge with strong leadership and project management skills.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Project Oversight:

  • Direct daily production activities for commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to industry standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and supervise on-site production teams, subcontractors, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Resource and Budget Management:

  • Develop and adjust project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion.
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of roofing materials and equipment to maintain production flow.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.

Quality and Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to OSHA guidelines, company safety policies, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, promptly addressing any issues or discrepancies.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and suppliers to ensure clear communication regarding project timelines, progress, and any potential challenges.
  • Provide detailed progress reports and performance metrics to senior management.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project records, prepare progress reports, and present updates to stakeholders.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial roofing project management or a similar role.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore) as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely using ladders and other elevated access equipment.


Work Environment:

  • Combination of office-based work and on-site supervision under varying weather conditions.
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.


Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certified
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
