Overview
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, TN. The Project Manager will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will serve in a Project Manager role on multiple design and execution projects associated with maintenance, capital improvements, or test projects supporting Arnold AFB. To accomplish this task, the Project Manager is required to have a working knowledge of and the capability to perform the following job duties. Multiple vacancies exist, selected candidate could be chosen to work in Propulsion, Space & Missiles, or Flight branches.
Job Duties:
  • Effectively manage project resources to accomplish the defined cost, schedule, and technical objectives for assigned projects.
  • Prepare and execute Project Plans by tracking cost, schedule, and performance objectives, while applying best practices in risk management and resource planning.
  • Facilitate the collection of project requirements and customer expectations, and ensure this information is communicated accurately to the project team.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, assisting in the development of design requirements and maintaining organized project documentation.
  • Coordinate and participate in design reviews, ensuring that meeting minutes, action items, and attendance are accurately documented.
  • Support the procurement process by helping to track orders and ensure materials and services are acquired according to the project plan.
  • Build strong working relationships and coordinate effectively with all teammate organizations-including Engineering, Planners, and Safety-to ensure tasks are completed as planned.
  • Learn and apply the company's methods for performing cost and performance analysis, tracking a project's progress against its planned scope.
  • Prepare clear and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and briefings under the guidance of senior leadership.
  • Serve as a reliable and professional interface to the AF project manager for all matters concerning assigned projects.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, focusing on executing them safely, with high quality, on time, and within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure assigned projects comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations by following established procedures and seeking guidance when needed.
  • Follow work processes and procedures that are applicable to assigned projects to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Commit to following all company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives, including consistently and correctly wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Willingly perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting contractual and company goals.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited university and a minimum of eight (8) years progressive and relevant experience in an engineering or related technical field or a minimum of fourteen (14) years of progressive and relevant experience in lieu of degree. Additional relevant education can be substituted for overall experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain credentials to access the AEDC local area network.
  • Current U. S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degreed in an engineering discipline, construction management, or business administration field from an accredited university.
  • Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, and other project-related activities, including their interfaces and interdependencies.
  • Knowledge of using AI to accelerate research, automate the generation of reports and briefings, analyze complex technical documents, and enhance stakeholder communications.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Knowledge of Project Scheduling disciplines using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 core applications, cloud services, business, enterprise, and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to plan, organize, lead and monitor team efforts to their successful conclusion.
  • Ability to lead comprehensive change management strategies by anticipating organizational impacts, stakeholder resistance, and proactive interventions are deployed to drive adoption.
