Positions Summary

The Senior Project Manager manages the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome for assigned projects. Responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Leads implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policies
  • All qualities/responsibilities of a Project Manager 4, plus:
  • Leads Strategy Conflict Resolution Process with Owners with PD Guidance
  • Serve as Lead Owner/Client Interface
  • Serve as Client - Project Executive Point of Contact
  • Co-Lead Pursuit Strategy with Marketing/Business Development Assistance
  • Oversight of Change Management Process
  • Develops Project Staffing Plan
  • Oversees successful development and implementation of Project Execution Plan
  • Able to Manage Large, Complex, and/or Multiple Jobs
  • Review & Approve Project Execution Plan
  • Assists in negotiating and finalizing Owner Contract AgreementsOther duties as assigned
  • Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.

  • Has completed OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification and First Aid & CPR Training and Certification.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis
  • 15 years of industry experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in excess of $75 million
  • Must have Data Center/Mission Critical project sector experience
Working Conditions and Physical Efforts
  • You must be adaptable to all types of weather conditions and traverse and inspect all areas of a construction job site, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
  • Ability to repeat the same movements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
  • Ability to compose, send, and reply to emails and written correspondence.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Travel may be required occasionally, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License).
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site hazards.
