JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Project Manager - Government Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Business Technology Office (BTO), Project Management Office (PMO). As part of the PMO team, the incumbent is responsible for managing large technology-related projects using the Florida Information Technology Standards (Rule 60GG-1.001 through 1.004, F.A.C.). The incumbent must be highly organized and possess excellent team-building and communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years of experience in the past five years managing Information Technology (IT) software development projects.
  • Possess an active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute. *

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • * Bachelor's degree from an accredited organization in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology related fields may substitute for the required certification. 

PREFERENCES:

  • Preference will be given to those currently employed at the Florida Department of Revenue.

SPECIAL NOTES:

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $5,959.11 monthly/$71,509.32 annually.
