UNDERSTANDING

The Retail Website Department is the online extension of the Albanese Factory Outlet retail store. The Retail Website and Shipping Associate enjoys providing the World's Best Customer Experience to our customers nationwide. This team member is focused on providing exceptional customer service through all their job responsibilities. They take great pride when handling customer interaction via phone calls and e-mails and attention to detail is must to ensure accuracy when, picking, verifying, and packaging shipments.

SCOPE

This team member supports Retail Website Operations but may also support other departments at the direction of management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Access Albanesecandy.com website to manage and process customer orders
  • Take customer orders to be shipped via phone, e-mail, or in person
  • Communicate with customers in regard to their orders via phone or email
  • Ensure all customer paperwork and information is accurately filled out
  • Provide ACG level Customer Service in any interaction (phone, email, etc)
  • Maintain knowledge of products and other merchandise
  • Maintain knowledge of current department policies
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase
  • Inventory stock and requisition new stock
  • Ensure packages are properly labeled to ship
  • Partner with Shipping Team to coordinate EOD shipments
  • Responsible for monitoring quality
  • Ship finished goods in good condition according to ACG standards
  • Verifies orders, and packing lists to ensure accurate shipments
  • Comply with all company quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Regular and timely attendance

  • Hard worker who is a self-starter and proactive
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Making decisions and problem solving

  • Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours with applicable break
  • Although no experience is required- shipping or retail experience is preferred

EDUCATION

  • Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
