Job description

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Website Operations Manager to join our Marketing team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves-one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

This role will deliver value from our online properties, including the operational, technical, and strategic aspects, ensuring it meets business needs, supports marketing and compliance goals, and identifies and champions growth opportunities across the organization. 

You will report into the Associate Director, Marketing, Websites & Digital Reputation.

Work Location:

This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $106,812.00 - $140,190.75 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Oscar's Content Management System (CMS) and ensure it is optimized for internal use, including content updates, landing page creation, and form functionality.
  • Maintain and optimize existing pages, identifying and implementing opportunities for new content and improved user experience.
  • Train internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Pharmacy) on best practices and self-service content updates.
  • Ensure accurate set up of  Google Analytics to monitor website performance, user behavior, and key metrics, reporting insights and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Drive and manage A/B testing strategies and collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure the company's digital presence is protected and aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align website goals with broader business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings, staying ahead of AI-driven changes in search results and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Compliance with app applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or 4+ years commensurate experience.
  • 4+ years of experience  in website management, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+  years managing and executing in CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, WordPress), Google Analytics, and SEO tools. 2+ years  A/B or multivariate testing experience (test and target or other vendors).
