JOB PURPOSE

The Digital Project Management Intern plays a vital support role in the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of digital projects across the agency, with a core focus on Quality Assurance (QA) and website maintenance. A primary responsibility of this role is performing hands-on QA testing across websites, SLAs, and digital assets to ensure all deliverables meet strict agency standards and functional requirements prior to client deployment. Working closely with Senior PMs, developers, and creative teams, the intern also assists in managing timelines, maintaining project documentation, and tracking work through the pipeline. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, a keen eye for finding bugs or inconsistencies, is highly organized, and is eager to gain hands-on QA and digital project management experience.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Assist with the day-to-day planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned digital projects, including website maintenance, QA, and SLA work.
  • Help track project progress, monitor timelines, and ensure deliverables move efficiently and accurately through the agency workflow.
  • Help identify outstanding tasks, potential risks, and workflow blockers early to assist PM leads with resolution.

Documentation & Status Tracking

  • Create, update, and maintain accurate project documentation, task lists, and schedules using agency tools.
  • Draft project status reports, meeting agendas, and clear action-item recaps for internal project stakeholders.
  • Keep agency tracking tools updated to reflect current task statuses and project deliverables.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support daily collaboration across account, UX, UI, development, strategy, and QA teams to keep deliverables aligned.
  • Attend and participate in stand-ups, project kickoffs, and status meetings to track team action items.
  • Serve as an organized point of contact for internal task handoffs and follow-ups across departments.

Quality Assurance

  • Assist with basic Quality Assurance (QA) testing on website builds, updates and digital assets to verify accuracy before launch.
  • Support team leads in refining project templates, workflow documentation, and delivery processes.
  • Participate in project retrospectives to learn agency best practices and contribute ideas for workflow efficiency.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications include:

  • Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital agency environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity or comfort working with digital project tools and communication platforms (e.g., ClickUp, Slack, Figma, Google Workspace).

Preferred:

  • Prior internship experience or relevant coursework in digital marketing, web development, or project management.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts or web development lifecycles.
