Requirement/Must Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Java development.
  • 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • 4+ years of experience in Microservices, API, SpringBoot, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative capabilities that enhance the member experience across various digital touchpoints.
  • Build microservice components from the ground up.
  • Ensure the longevity, scalability, and quality of our systems through continuous improvement, comprehensive documentation, meticulous profiling, and significant performance enhancements.
  • Mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Accountable for Website Platform’s overall architecture, strategically applying principles that promote availability, reusability, interoperability, and security within the design framework.
  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices to deliver higher quality, scalable solutions.
  • Mentor and develop software engineers by providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Establish and maintain coding standards, architectural patterns, and development processes to deliver higher quality, scalable solutions.
  • Understand the full technology stack and underlying applications, services, and databases in order to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work cross-functionally to pilot innovative technologies and capabilities that enhance overall member experience and drive business operational efficiencies.
  • Perform development, debugging, optimization, and automation activities to support the implementation of the product/application.
  • Use test-driven development practices to assist with the detection of software defects early in the development process.
