Role Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator, Social Media & Content serves as the execution lead for the company's digital communications and content strategy, transforming business priorities into compelling content that strengthens the brand, engages audiences, and supports enterprise growth. Reporting to the Director, Brand & Marketing, this role owns the day-to-day planning, creation, and execution of content across the company's digital social media channels while also assisting with website editorial planning and bringing the company's communications strategy to life.
Working closely with executives, product teams, engineers, regional marketing leaders, and external partners, this individual proactively identifies opportunities to tell the company's story and translates them into engaging content across digital platforms. Success in this role requires creativity, initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities with minimal direction, and serve as a trusted day-to-day partner in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Own the company's social media content calendar and ensure communications priorities are translated into timely, engaging content.
  • Manage the content calendar across digital platforms.
  • Coordinate content priorities with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify timely storytelling opportunities that support company objectives.
  • Maintain consistency with the company's brand voice and communications strategy.
  • Write compelling copy for social media, blogs, newsletters, executive communications, and digital campaigns as assigned.
  • Produce and edit short-form videos, photography, graphics, and multimedia content using available tools and company-provided platforms.
  • Capture content from product demonstrations, customer engagements, industry events, and company activities.
  • Adapt content across multiple platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Publish and manage content across the company's social media channels.
  • Monitor audience engagement and identify opportunities to strengthen community relationships.
  • Track platform performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and audience insights.
  • Support digital campaigns that reinforce brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Coordinate content production across departments and regional teams.
  • Support executive communications initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain organized content libraries and digital assets.
  • Help establish scalable workflows that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Assist with communications support for product launches, industry events, and other strategic initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, content creation, social media, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content across social media and digital platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with major social media platforms.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator), Canva, and/or similar creative tools.
  • Familiarity/experience capturing and editing photography and video content.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Experience supporting a corporate brand, technology company, aerospace, defense, or other B2B organization.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Ability to use a computer, camera equipment, and mobile devices for content creation, editing, and communication.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and move throughout office, manufacturing, laboratory, and event environments to capture photos and video content.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, including photography, video, and marketing equipment, as needed.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to company sites, customer locations, trade shows, and industry events to support marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends in support of company events, product launches, or special projects.
