Job Description
The SAP Developer - Level 3 - PO / BTP CPI will be responsible for managing a portfolio of information integration / Middleware technologies using SAP PO and BTP CPI along with Web Methods. The SAP Developer-Level 3 will be responsible for the development of middleware applications in SAP PO, BTP CPI and Web Methods environment with the delivery of projects, acquisitions, data transformation and conversions and support minor/major releases; ensure activities in their technical area are successfully completed by interacting with the functional teams and COE, if applicable; responsible for Business Requirements Gathering, Project Planning, Solution Design, Technical Developments, Enhancements, Testing and post Go-Live support; oversee the code review activities in development related work, establish and ensure adherence to development standards, processes, and procedures.
Skills/Qualifications
Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of combined development experience utilizing SAP NetWeaver and integration with ABAP technologies including any combination of at least five of the following: BAPI, RFC, CPI, IDOCs, BDCs, BDocs, EDI, etc; and Web Methods.
    • Minimum of 5 years of combined hands-on experience in integration technologies in SAP like IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, ICO and application development integrating with 3rd party applications and developing with Service Flows, Adapter Connections, and Portlet technologies.
    • Minimum 3 years of Software Development Life Cycle experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP Service Marketplace, Notes and Messages
    • Minimum 3 years of experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels of management.
    • Minimum 3 years of combined experience across
      • SAP PO (Process Orchestration) with In-depth knowledge of PI/PO architecture, configuration, and monitoring
      • SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) with Strong understanding of the BTP environment, including services related to integration, application development, and data management
      • SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration): Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing iFlows, utilizing standard and custom adapters, and implementing security best practices.
    • Solid understanding of integration patterns, API management, and event-driven architecture.

Preferred:
    • Software AG (IBM) webMethods 8.x / 9.x product suite (Integration Server, MWS, Broker)
    • Experience with Software AG webMethods Integration Server performance tuning experience,
    • Proficiency in Groovy or JavaScript for scripting within CPI
    • Experience in integration with Mainframe Legacy systems
    • Experience designing queries, working with standard object/relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, experience in JDBC and Flat File adapters; and worked in complex n-tier enterprise infrastructure environment
