Job Description

The "EAI Analyst" has four major responsibilities:

  • Direct and Administer the EDI environment for our Manufacturing and Distribution sites inclusive of engagements using third-party providers such as SPS Commerce. 
  • Support the setup and the run business (including systems monitoring, problem analysis & resolution, customer communication/ de-escalation, service level management).  This will be done in close collaboration with the Arvato world-wide EDI team (Germany and Malaysia) along with our direct retail EDI provider SPS Commerce. 
  • Act as an EAI subject matter expert for various parties: Customers (internal, external), Sales team, other IT groups 
  • Have exposure in educating internal customers on business systems and procedures and working with other analysts. 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Development EAI solutions, mainly based on EDI industry standards 
  • EAI System Monitoring (EDI SAP PI and SAP Integration Processing) along with Seeburger 
  • Structure and administer EAI environment (e.g. folder, connections) in conjunction with the Infrastructure team 
  • Support run business: support all aspects of existing EAI setup. Ensure customer-, legal and internal specifications and requirements are met at all times. Ensure that all documentation is kept current. 
  • Subject Matter Expert: Help other groups with EAI-related requests for their needs (take part in IT estimations, feasibility studies, error analysis; provide training/knowledge transfer, recommend solutions) 
  • Directing contractors and other external resources when acting as the EDI project lead to ensure deliverables are completed on-time and under budget. 
  • Responsible for EDI data testing which includes liaising with testing team and overlooking the testing process and results. 
  • Liaising between management, clients, and the SAP ERP team to setup infrastructure and validate project assignments. 
Qualifications
  • Experience with IT Enterprise Application Integration Application systems. Heavily weighted to SAP XI/PI.     
  • X.12, XML, and/or EDifact experience 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Experience with SAP Integration technologies (ALE/Idoc, XI, PI, SOAP,Seeburger ) 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications  
  • 1-2 years of SAP Functional Knowledge (any of the following modules PP, SD, MM, FI, CO, etc) 
  • EDI Transaction Set experience; 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 945 or equivalent XML map experience with the same transactions sets. 
  • Experience working with large trading partners in retail-, movie- or high-tech industry 
  • Experience working with Webmethods   
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps preferred
  • Java programming experience 
  • General Programming experience: preferable ABAP

  • 3+ years experience in high-tech manufacturing, high-tech or retail industry or poses all equivalent technical skills
