Overview:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Report Development Create, modify, and maintain reports using tools like Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports to deliver actionable insights to the business.
- Universe Development Design and build SAP BusinessObjects Universes, which act as a semantic layer to provide a user-friendly interface to complex data sources.
- Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering Work with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements and specifications.
- Testing and Deployment Conduct testing (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) to ensure the accuracy and functionality of reports and applications before deploying them to production.
- Troubleshooting and Support Provide technical support, resolve issues, and debug problems with BusinessObjects reports and applications.
- Documentation Maintain and update documentation for the BusinessObjects applications and universes.
- Technical ExpertiseSAP BusinessObjects Tools Proficiency in tools such as Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Universe Design Tool (UDTIDT).
- SQL Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting data.
- Data Visualization Ability to present data in a clear and insightful way.
- Analytical Skills Ability to analyze business processes, understand data flows, and convert raw data into meaningful reports.
- Communication Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT teams.
- Problem-Solving Ability to troubleshoot issues, debug code, and provide efficient solutions to complex problems.
