Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for enterprise endpoint, Microsoft 365/Azure, ICAM, mobility, and collaboration services supporting a federal customer.

  • Own engineering roadmaps, backlog prioritization, resource planning, technical standards, risk management, operational readiness, and customer-facing status reporting across endpoint and collaboration portfolios.

  • Oversee Windows endpoint engineering, including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Windows Update for Business, BitLocker policy, secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance baselines.

  • Oversee macOS endpoint engineering, including JAMF, macOS configuration management, Platform SSO, patching, secure baselines, lifecycle management, and integration with Microsoft cloud identity services.

  • Partner with identity engineering teams on Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO, ADFS-to-Entra migration, identity governance, and identity-related endpoint impacts.

  • Oversee UCC/VTC engineering activities involving Cisco Call manager, Microsoft Teams, conference room technologies, and collaboration platform modernization.

  • Maintain and oversee lab and test environments used to evaluate endpoint, Microsoft 365, identity, collaboration, patching, and security configuration changes before enterprise rollout.

  • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for Tier 3 engineering issues, cross-team dependencies, operational risks, and customer-impacting incidents.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, performance management, and delivery oversight for engineering staff, team leads, and senior engineers.

  • Ensure engineering deliverables, runbooks, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, operational procedures, and contract deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned to federal requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to federal cybersecurity requirements, compliance frameworks, change management processes, and applicable SLAs.

  • Drive modernization, automation, and process improvement using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Intune automation, Jira reporting, and repeatable engineering practices.

  • Coordinate regularly with the Program Manager, HHS customer, cross-functional engineering teams, operations teams, security teams, and other contractor partners to support mission outcomes and modernization initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, technical leads, or senior engineers responsible for enterprise end-user services, endpoint platforms, collaboration services, identity integrations, Microsoft 365 engineering, or closely related infrastructure services.

  • Hands-on technical background sufficient to guide senior engineers, challenge technical assumptions, review implementation plans, support Tier 3 escalations, and brief federal stakeholders.

  • Experience managing multiple technical projects, competing priorities, cross-team dependencies, customer escalations, and operational risks in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

  • Experience managing engineering backlogs, project schedules, risks, resource plans, technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, deliverables, and operational readiness activities.

  • Experience operating in a regulated enterprise environment with cybersecurity controls, change management, compliance baselines, SLAs, and customer-facing status reporting.
