Job Summary
About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Field Tech - ENT based in Muncie, IN, with initial training and future assignments at customer sites in Elkhart or La Porte. In this entry-level, hands-on position, you will play a vital role in delivering, maintaining, and upgrading building automation and HVAC control systems. You will also support the installation of new equipment and empower customers through effective training on products and systems. Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on customer-owned equipment.
- Install new building automation and HVAC control systems at client locations.
- Deliver clear, user-focused training and support to customers on product usage and upgrades.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, utilizing ladders and lift equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate technical solutions in an understandable way.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate service records.
- Travel locally between customer sites as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with insurability under company policy.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, squat, climb, and work above 8 feet for extended periods.
- Comfort using ladders, motorized lifts, and basic hand tools.
- Willingness to work onsite Monday-Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm, with occasional overtime.
Preferred Skills
- Degree, certificate, or diploma in HVAC, Controls, or a related technical field.
- Experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or relevant technical service.
- Familiarity with building automation software (e.g., WebCTRL) and TCP/IP networking, including wireless.
