Maintenance Technician

Location: Webco Manufacturing Facility
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M. or 6:00 P.M. - 6:00 A.M.)

  • Sunday - Tuesday + every other Wednesday
    OR
  • Thursday - Saturday + every other Wednesday

At Webco, our Maintenance Technicians are the backbone of our operation-keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a skilled team, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.

What You'll Do

You'll work on a wide range of equipment and systems across our facility, including:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep operations running at peak performance
  • Work with electrical systems (up to 480V AC / 600V DC), PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
  • Weld, cut, grind, and fabricate as needed for repairs
  • Maintain facility systems such as cranes, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and motors
  • Read blueprints and use diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues
  • Partner with production teams to quickly resolve equipment problems
  • Support larger projects like equipment rebuilds and upgrades
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts when needed
  • Respond to emergency situations as a trained first responder (CPR/First Aid)

What We're Looking For

  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, averages)
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical & Work Environment

  • 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed
  • Frequent standing/walking (up to 2 miles per shift) on concrete floors
  • Regular lifting (5-50 lbs) and physical movement (bending, climbing, crawling)
  • Work at heights up to 40 feet and in confined spaces when required
  • Exposure to heat, cold, and industrial noise
  • Required PPE: steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
