Job description

Role Overview:
Seeking a skilled RFGen Technical Consultant to manage the upgrade, deployment, and ongoing technical support of RFGen Version 6. This role involves extensive work with RFGen scripting, workflow customization, and integration with ERP systems like JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ensuring robust and efficient warehouse and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead RFGen Version 6 upgrades, deployments, and provide comprehensive technical support.
  • Manage SQL Server/Oracle databases, including query optimization, stored procedures, and backend troubleshooting.
  • Develop and customize RFGen scripts, workflows, and forms, including debugging.
  • Utilize VBA and automation scripting for data handling and utilities.
  • Integrate RFGen with ERP systems like JD Edwards EnterpriseOne via API/Web Services.
  • Administer RFGen services, IIS/application servers, and manage middleware connectivity and session management.
  • Troubleshoot interfaces involving XML, JSON, REST/SOAP services.
  • Implement and support barcode logic, label printing, and scanner integrations with Zebra printers.
  • Handle RFGen package deployment, migration, environment setup, and production stabilization.

Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience in RFGen Version 6 upgrade, deployment, and technical support.
  • Expertise in SQL Server/Oracle queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and backend troubleshooting.
  • Experience in RFGen scripting, workflow customization, form modifications, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of VBA, automation scripting, and data handling utilities.
  • Experience in API/Web Services integration between RFGen and ERP systems like JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • Strong understanding of RFGen services, IIS/application servers, middleware connectivity, and session management.
