Department: Sciences & Technology Salary: $12.00 per hour
Description:
The College of Sciences and Technology is seeking a Federal Work-Study student to serve as a Web Technology Assistant and support website updates and digital projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists faculty and staff with department needs
  • Assists students and visitors to the department
  • Answers phones and provides front office coverage
  • Assists in organizing inventories
  • Assists with student events
  • Performs all other duties as assigned, which may include:
    • Handling the CST social media
    • Creating and designing posts for the college while following university guidelines
    • Leveraging data from social media to better engage online audiences
    • Researching current social media trends
Qualifications:
  • Must be a current UHD student
  • Must qualify for federal work-study
Preferred:
  • Interest in design, marketing, or data
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with social media
