Lead and perform various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, user acceptance, etc. Identify, document and track quality issues through to completion. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date test plans. Supervise quality assurance team who may be both internal and external resources and who may be geographically dispersed to ensure the delivery of the QA department goals and objectives. Works with project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for QA related projects and other activities such as software deployment in production environments. Responsible embedding for QA as part of the SDLC. Meet target deployment schedules. Measure and evaluate product and QA team performance; recommend improvements. Identify risks and manage contingencies. Gather and communicate testing results. Work with Internal Audit to test and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
