Overview

Join our Digital Experience team in contributing to the success of Esri's website. In this role, you will be pivotal in optimizing customer journeys for Esri's priority audiences, driving higher conversion rates, and ensuring a compelling and consistent brand narrative on esri.com. Your excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting at all levels of the organization will be imperative to your success, as you will be working with stakeholders from across Esri, as well as SEO specialists, web designers, CMS authors, project managers, and writers.

Responsibilities

  • Define high-level content strategy across web experiences, shaping end-to-end customer journeys based on business objectives that support awareness, evaluation, and conversion
  • Own content strategy outcomes from concept through performance, setting direction, guiding execution, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders and milestones
  • Design content strategy that serves both human users and AI-driven discovery, optimizing for emerging search patterns, generative AI surfaces, and structured content reuse
  • Collaborate closely with SEO, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Performance Analysis teams to understand trends, identify opportunities, and make informed recommendations for optimization and improvements
  • Stay current on Esri's campaign and program plans, utilizing exposure to industry-leading web analytics tools to proactively map out how the web can best support strategic initiatives
  • Partner with UX and Content teams to define information architecture, content hierarchy, and user flows
  • Keep abreast of usability research, A/B testing, and quarterly performance reports to inform decision-making

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience with web usability, information architecture, and writing for the web
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Customer Journey Analytics
  • Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and gain consensus on complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Actively seek professional development opportunities and maintain knowledge of web best practices, including SEO, AEO,UX, and industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to ~20%); travel needs may vary based on business requirements
