Job description

Manhattan Strategy Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of research communications, publications, and web content tasks for the customer's research and technology program. This role owns overall program delivery, coordinating directly with Government representatives to ensure every deliverable is met on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall management of a complex, high-visibility portfolio of communications, publications, and web content tasks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Government Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and Task Managers
  • Oversee strategic planning, resource allocation, staffing, and risk/performance management across all task areas
  • Ensure staff maintain the project tracking system so customers can view real-time project status
  • Lead kickoff meetings, monthly progress reporting, and biweekly task order progress meetings
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and oversee its implementation across all deliverables
  • Supervise the full lifecycle of publications and communications products, from concept through final distribution
  • Manage phase-in and phase-out transition activities to ensure continuity of ongoing publications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience leading multidisciplinary communications and publishing teams
  • Demonstrated experience supervising publication of technical information ranging from one-page flyers to 300+ page reports
  • Experience managing presentations, videos, online tours, social media, and other communications collateral
  • Transportation sector experience, especially highway and surface transportation, preferred
  • Ability to obtain a USDOT Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential
