Primary responsibilities:ย ย
ย Assistย production staff with preparation for live and recorded broadcasts.ย ย
ย Helpย compile scripts, production notes, guest information, and program materials.ย ย
ย Supportย studio setup and prepare production areas prior to broadcasts.ย ย
ย Coordinateย basic communication between production personnel, guests, and talent.ย ย
ย Escortย guests andย assistย with check-in and studioย logistics.ย ย
ย Monitorย production schedules and help ensure materials are available when needed.ย ย
ย Assistย with gathering video clips, graphics, and other production elements.ย ย
ย Performย research andย fact-gatheringย to support program development.ย
Assists in the preparation of production elements of programs and content for broadcast and/or web and social media, including simple editing of voiceover andย soundcutsย from taped material, as assignedย ย
Contributes to teamwork,ย facilitatingย tasks of teammates, as neededย ย
Meets VOA standards for productivity, quality, and meeting deadlinesย ย
Works as a member of a teamย ย
Logs and conducts data entry and other functions connected with VOAโs digital asset management systemย ย
Trains as a multimedia journalist (video, audio, editing)ย ย
Trains on the use of technical equipmentย ย
Other related duties as assignedย
