Job Description

We are seeking a Web Marketing Analyst, Web Experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in web and marketing analytics, experimentation, and behavioral analysis and a proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable insights that improve marketing performance.

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:

  • Web/marketing analytics - 5+ years
  • A/B testing and statistical analysis - 3+ years
  • Web analytics and data analysis using tools such as Google Analytics and advanced Excel - 3+ years

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the impact of cross-team web projects proactively and in response to stakeholder requests.
  • Run and assess A/B tests using tools such as Ninetailed and internal frameworks, ensuring sound experiment design and interpretation.
  • Use FullStory to evaluate engagement, usability, and design impact across key flows.
  • Build ad-hoc analyses in Power BI and behavioral tools to answer questions on user behavior, funnel performance, and marketing program impact.
  • Produce monthly reporting on web engagement, including session patterns, behavioral insights, and page-level trends.
  • Partner with product managers and marketers to scope ambiguous analytics requests into structured analyses.
  • Conduct page-level and flow-level investigations across purchase and conversion paths to identify issues and opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years in web analytics and/or marketing analytics.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies, including design, implementation, and interpretation; understanding of power, significance, and confidence intervals.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data manipulation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar platforms for tracking, reporting, and interpreting web performance.
  • Ability to refine loosely framed questions into structured analytical approaches.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience supporting marketing, growth, or web teams on performance measurement.
  • Comfort context-switching across multiple stakeholders and incoming requests.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with FullStory or other behavioral analytics tools.
  • Proficiency with SQL and comfort querying large datasets.
  • Experience with experiment platforms such as Ninetailed, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Understanding of SEO analytics, documentation analytics, or logged-in behavior measurement.
  • Experience with developer-focused products or GitHub's ecosystem.

Role Logistics
